Windows 8 Tiles "Refresh" at Boot

I've recently installed Windows 8 Developer Preview (x64) on a separate hard drive partion as a dual boot. It works flawlessly, except for the minor annoyance of the Home Screen tiles "refreshing" up to 20 times on boot. What I mean is the tiles keep sliding in, and I can't stop it or enter any of the Metro Apps. Any help?

I had the same problem on my system. I did a PC refresh and it took care of that problem...but now it wont detect my windows 7 partition in explorer.
