    Nero can hose up Windows 8 Mount ISO facility -- how to avoid


    Hi there
    To anybody running W8 who has installed the NERO extra multi-media and bloat stuff -- this can HOSE up the Mount ISO facility.

    To get the Mount command back again from the Context menu (Right mouse click on the .ISO file in Windows explorer) choose the Open With -- and then from the NERO and Windows explorer options choose Windows Explorer - so Nero won't try and open the .ISO file before Windows explorer.

    Then you can Mount and EJECT the iso when finished with it in Windows Explorer.

    Search on this forum really paid off. Had the same problem when I installed ImgBurn. Got it working now. Thanks Jimbo.
