Hie guys, i bought this acer 5333 notebook and it was running windows 7 perfectly and i installed windows 8 and used it for a week and one day i was repairing windows file and it took long time to finish and i thought it was frozen so i forced it to switch off and the moment i switched on again it only display the acer log and says press f2 to run setup and if i try to press any key or even f2 its not responding it will automatically restarts within 8seconds so i wl have to remove the battery so that it can stop restarting ,anyone who can help me fix this problem plz i am stranded what i can do now .

What happens when you insert a windows 8 install DVD?

hie, if i insert a disc in the cd rom nthng is responding it will simply restart and dont know if they is any key i should press so that it can pass the stage it restarts

The only key that I know is F2 but you have to be quick try pressing the key as soon as you start the notebook (press, release, over and over) this should put the notebook into the BIOS , where you can select the BOOT tab and then select the DVD ROM as first boot device. In my BIOS it is marked as IDE CD: TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633C-(
