    Recent App Thumbnails with Mouse

    G'Day,
I find using the mouse (at centre left of App screen) to see thumbnail(s) of Recent Apps VERY IFFY!!
    Out of say 50 attempts:
    __44 provide no visible action
__04 provide a momentry glimpse of a thumbnail
__02 provide an actual thumbnail that can be dragged (partly or fully) on to the screen

    Any advice welcomed.

    Regards,

It only works with Metro Apps, currently.

If you have no metro apps running (or suspended) you'll only get the desktop.

Otherwise, scroll over to the left, pull one out without dropping it, put it back and pull again. A new Metro App will be there (again, providing you are running Metro Apps).

After you cycle through them, you'lll get the desktop option in your "pull-out."

It even works in desktop mode.

    Thanks Mikeld,

All the Apps referred to are Metro Apps.

I "Mouse Left" from a metro App OR from "Start", and the behaviour is as described.
