    Vista and Win7

2GB on two laptops, 4GB on two other laptops, 3GB on one desktop and 4GB on the other desktop. Sounds like a lot of gear but they are spread over 3 locations that are far apart.

4 GB of DDR3 @ 1866. Your MB my have overclocked your ram. Try reducing the overclock and see if you can boot into windows.

    Show-off!

I've got 4GB (the max my laptop will handle) - I used to have 3GB and the difference is incredible.

Do you have an unusual setup, like vm software or dual boot?
12gb ram, can you described your system, is it new ram?
