Windows 7, Windows 8
Do you think Windows 8 DP will be upgradeable to the beta?
I know none of us know this (unless Microsoft as openly stated it will be the case) but do you think the Windows 8 DP will be upgradeable to the Windows 8 beta? With early releases of Windows 7 (if there was any pre-releases before Win7 beta) did Microsoft make it so you could upgrade your installation to the W7 beta?

I don't think there will be a route to upgrade to beta. The beta will be a different version all together, with Vista, and Win 7, they released ultimate as a beta. Chances are, they will do the same with win 8, with a release of win 8 beta ultimate.

The last thing I would want to do is upgrade from an Alpha to a Beta. The amount of bugs and glitches would be insane.
Your best bet is to do a fresh install.

I hope not. If we will be able to this means that there was little change.
Not necessarily! Microsoft could make a mistake and actually accidentally make us able to upgrade... errors, errors everywhere!
Old Microsoft had an OS, E-I-E-I-O
And on this OS it had an error, E-I-E-I-O
With a "BSOD" here and a "BSOD" there
Here a "bug" there a "bug"
Everywhere a "bug bug"
