Thank's karlsnooks for the list. I certainly am interested in tip #20, Launch Metro apps from the desktop but the advice just tells you to create an empty folder named Applications and does not point to the target location of the Metro App location.

Great tips makes using the Metro and desktop much easier and hello new her came from Windows 7 Forums but running 8 on my Laptop boots in 20 seconds much faster then 7 but will have to wait and see what the final version is like.
