Check permissions differences between the 2 folders carefully.

    update,
changed the settings in win7 ,there was one slight difference it the settings between the music folder and the movies folder , i added the word "everybody " to the settings in the movie folder security setting and checked again in win 8 and bingo ,its fixed .thanks bill. it didnt occur to me to inspect it closer and when i tried to give a permission in win 8 it wouldn't allow it.

I can't get any help with my problem, maybe you can help.

I just insalled Win 8 on my Vista computer. It worked fine with my old password from Vista, but the a new log-in screen came up &
the first line was my full name. Under it was my correct Email address. Under that was the place to enter the password. I entered the password that was working befpre & it came bacK "The Email address or password is incorrect, Please try again"

If I can't log in how do I proceed?

    Thanx

Mine did that as well. The password is the Windows account/Skydrive one on mine.
