hi,
I have been using windows 8 developer for a few days but can not get the snap feature to work at all. I place mouse over to the left and hold an app than release but than the app just shows full screen on its own.

Please help

Try dragging it a little past the edge of the screen and release. It should work. 8 Isnt so much of a "snap" as it is a "drag and place it there" thing.

Yes tried that but it still switches to the program that I drag and place?

It's working for me, try reset and see.

EDIT: Place the mouse just above the address bar and drag to the left or right.

Finally managed to get it working, I changed the windows theme to a basic theme(Non Aero) and it works.
My graphics are intel graphics media accelerator-mobile intel 945 express chipset.
Although I can display 1280 x 800 aero themes the snap feature does not work, presumably an early bug in the windows 8 developer. thankyou

I am using the driver version 8.15.10.1930 from intel download center, can you check your version and if it's different, try this version.
