Cannot boot in Windows 8 anymore

    Hello guys,

After running windows update on win8 it asked me to reboot, after applying the updates upon reboot i get a black screen where I should get the login screen.

Also if I try to press F8, it displays "getting options..."(or something like that) and when it should load the options screen I get just a black empty screen that stays there forever.

Another funny thing is that my dual boot is gone, i cannot boot back to my win7 so i have pretty much an unusable computer...

    thanks for any help

Can't, I don't have a DVD drive and I also tried entering the option pressing F8 upon boot but all I get is a black screen after it says "loading options".

What about the dual boot? If I could get into my win7 at least...

Did you a USB Pen Drive to install Win 8? If yes, use the USB Pen Drive.

Go into Advance Option (at dual boot startup), and reset PC this as it states will "restore" your pc to pre-w8 install. Then redo the installation.
