    Help Me Please.......I stuck


    I have 2 questions

    Q1 : When i start the IE from the start menu of windows 8 it open in the nice new view. Accidently i switched it to desktop view and now on the IE opens in the desktop view ...... how can i switch that back to normal ?

    Q2 : When i open apps in the start menu and then i quit i noticed that still run in the background ........ how can i turn of them ?

    Q2 : Answer is .. You can use Task Manager to shutdown the apps in the background

    When you stop using a program it goes to "suspended" mode and won't use any resources, it's dormant until you click again to use it.
    You can choose to use either desktop IE or metro UI IE, whichever you prefer.

    There isn't a "right way" to do it as of yet.

    Only way to kill/exit them is to use task manager, otherwise like was said, they go into suspended mode in the background. MS doesn't want you to kill them off, they want them to go into suspended mode to be easily brought back up when called.


    To get back to using the Chrome-less Metro style IE10, just go back to the start menu and to the Metro style desktop view to get to the IE10 Metro tile.

    If you're in the old regular desktop, it will only have an icon for the regular IE.
