Hi all, my first post here.

Just thought i'd share images of my customized Windows 8 Media Center. The application that did the guide, guide logos, and artwork is yet to be released, was designed for Windows 7 and has now been updated for Windows 8. :ninja:

Hope that's got you guessing.

Yes , theres not much difference visually.

As Advent's MC Studio doesn't work with Windows 8, i thought i'd share some themes for media center.

These i previously posted on the Green Button for Windows 7, now updated for Windows 8.

Instructions:

Download the files and extract.

First open the extracted folder TakeOwnership and run the reg InstallTakeOwnership, this will add TakeOwnership to the right click context menu.

Close Media Center.

Now go to C:\Windows\ehome and right click ehres.dll and Microsoft.MediaCenter.Shell.dll and TakeOwnership.

Change extension on ehres.dll to .old and the same for Microsoft.MediaCenter.shell.dll.

Next select the theme you want to use and copy both files in the selected theme folder to C:\Windows\ehome.

That's it, now open Media Center.
