    That's what I was hoping for with 7. Didn't happen.

    It won't happen with 8 either.

    Just like Apple, they have to have easy brand recognition.

    Apart from 'un-official' theming, customization will always be limited

    I really hope that Eight comes with a style that is minimalistic but not drab, kind of like the look in OS X.

    If Windows 8 looks and feels like this i would absolutly love windows forever. Probably people have seen this before, but i still love it!

    That is basically what I have been thinking of for the new Windows GUI. Something clean, albeit effective. You are on the right track.
