Hello. So i'm new in gaming and stuffs like this. Recently i bought a Intel i5 2500k 3.3GHZ up to 3.6 computer with 8 GB Ram and NVIDIA GTX 460 .The "problem" is , that when i run some games, like Mortal Kombat X my pc is doing a louder noise that usualy .The game runs well but i'm scared to not overlock the CPU or something .In task manager ,the cpu is maximum 50% . I never had such a great PC like now and i am a beginner in all of this .So is there a problem with that noise ? Please give me some help and thank you for your time .

Most games are CPU+RAM hog and when it goes up 50% for certain period, the CPU chip will get hot hence the FAN RPM will increased trying to cool off the CPU then you will hear noise from the Fan running at higher speed. Google and download CPU-Z and run to see if the temp is too high. If it's constantly high (80~90C) then you might consider to get a good heat sink/thermal paste/fan to keep the Temp down.

When overclocking, the temp is the no. 1 concern because your CPU will run at higher speed than factory spec. so you'd need better cooling hardware to keep the temp down.
