So I have Core i7 4790K 4.0Ghz and GTX 960. Normally both temperature is fine and 45 degrees Celsius. I run witcher 3 and get good FPS as well of 45-50. The GPU temperature circles around 69-71 degrees in game and CPU temperature rises to 65 degrees but the usage is only 40-45% while GPU usage is 99%. I am kinda confused is this gonna harm my PC on the long run?

Keeping it simple and short, you're worrying about nothing as CPU temps often rise during gaming sessions. And since your GPU is used to render those game pixels, the GPU running at 99% would also be normal in intense areas where lots of things are going on in game.

Bottom line is this seems to be normal behavior of a very intensive (performance wise) game.

Peace.

BTW these are some fairly hefty system requirements for the game but you seem to be fine...

Thanks for making it sure. I just wanted some assurance that I am worrying over something which has nothing to be worried about.
