Hello to everyone! I am not a gamer but I think GTA V is so interesting and I would like to play it, but I´m not sure if my computer can run it. It's an HP Envy dv6, and I will write the specifications below. I have played GTA IV with this computer and the truth is that it ran it a little bit slow, but people say that this one is more eassy to run. So can you help me, please?

Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz
RAM: 6 GB DDR3
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bits
Hard Disk: SATA 1 TB 5400 rpm
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M (GDDR3 2GB)

Welcome to the forum!

There has been several questions like this lately. Not to pass the buck but it may be better to ask on the GTA forum. I believe you'll be alright as that is a fairly fast mobile GPU.
It also depends exactly which version you have as described here as to just how well it will perform: NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M - NotebookCheck.net Tech

There are tons of variables when it comes to playing games on laptops.

EDIT: Here is interesting thread on GTA forum: Post your PC specs and AVERAGE framerate. - PC - GTAForums

Reading through some of that I'm not so sure it will run well. :(

Thank you so much, I didn´t know there was an GTA forum, so I'll ask there. Thank you for the answer, it's been pretty helpful.

i'm sure you can run it but you will have decrease the resolution a bit to get a playable frame rate
i'm using laptop to play games *specs in profile* and yes it's a bit creepy when you use full res.
for example i decreased the resolution in battle field 3 to 1280X720 and it run on about 50 fps
and here is a piece of advise fro a person who tried a lot
DON'T EVER trust the sites which frustrate you with "sorry, you can't run it"
