Heyo, it's the MuffinMan, and I was wondering if I could overclock my Intel Pentium Quad Core (2.16 GHz) Processor. And if yes, by how much? I have never overclocked before and I was hoping to run a few more games. Thanks!
Try filing in your system specs in forum or post them, so we can get a better idea if you can what you have in system, if it is worth the try. Can be some risks involved in doing this. RAM plays a part and motherboard.

Sorry CPU up to 2.66GHZ if correct system. RAM only 4GB, believe can go no further, so for certain games might not be good. As far as overclocking a laptop, let someone else here give you more of answer.

Turbo boosts up to 2.58GHZ. It has 1 DIMM for RAM up to 8GB which would be plenty for most games today. Again for playing games just not how fast CPU is, also how video card is and amount of RAM, as said 8GB would be sufficient to upgrade to also, from what i see it's an integrated video card and it shares memory with system. So do not think just overclocking going do it all for you for games. This matters to which games also you are thinking about. If play a lot of games, buy gaming laptop, if not add more RAM, see if more help here can tell you about overclock for this laptop. If know some stuff, check the BIOS for overclock feature.

Single core CPU performance is pretty much too low in today's standards. With 4 cores, it just barely exceeds my Core i5 low power tablet when using only 1 core. That Pentium chip isn't also overclockable due to locked multiplier. See geekbench score here:
