Hi,
Lately when I play CSGO, at certain times, my fps went down from 120 to 40fps.
When I'm at 120 fps, my cpu speed goes to maximum at 2.4 to 2.7 Ghz.
When I'm at 40 fps, my cpu speed goes to its default which is 1.8 Ghz.
I wonder why this happen sometimes. I can't even play properly at 40 fps and I don't know why my cpu speed goes lower to 1.8 Ghz. Other games are not like this. But my main game is CSGO so I need this to be fixed and stay constant at 2.4 to 2.7 Ghz. Please help.
My laptop CPU speed is 1.8 Ghz but it has a TurboBoost feature which can go up to 2.4 Ghz, maximum I notice is 3.0 Ghz but rarely, only up to 2.4 or 2.7 Ghz
