Red Screen after playing for around 8 min into bf game

Hey Guys, coming from BSOD section, just wondering

I have an ASUS 290X card, and an MSI Z97-Gaming 5 motherboard, and around 8 min into the bf4 game i get a red screen and then i have to press the restart button.

I have a 650 Watt Power Supply, could it be that? I have the Beta Drivers for AMD 14.7 RC3, i used to have 14.4 but same thing occured.

I havent tried other games.

Any Suggestions??

The PSU should be ok, if it's not a very old one and / or crap brand.

Checked your temp's ?

Its pretty old i am going to try a 1100W my case hast 4 fans :p and I have the Asus 290X cars which is supposed to be cooling it better, if its end up as overheating what can i purchase to lower the heat??

Depends on what is overheating. Check the CPU and GPU Temps first.

I7 reaches a Max of 80 Celcius, and Graphics Card Reaches 70 Celcius

The Tcase of the i7 4790k is 72.72C: Click

80C for the CPU is pushing it a bit, but if HWINFO is not telling you that you ran into the thermal throttle, then it's still ok as well: Click.

The GPU-Temp is ok.

I would do a Prime95-Run (max. Heat): Click

Even that BF3 / BF4 is stressing the CPU more than Prime95, it's still good to know if some of your Cores are crashing.
