Tomb Raider Windows 8 Support

I've got the Tomb Raider Trilogy on my PS3 and I've completed one of them as well
Included in the trilogy are Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld.
I found the three games standalone on steam earlier today and the recommended OS specs are Windows 2000 and XP, however my CPU, GPU, RAM and HDD specs follow, according to Steam.
My question is, as some of you may have guessed already due to the name of this thread and what I'm talking about in the intro, does the trilogy work on Windows 8 if bought from Steam? Before anyone thinks this, I'm not asking anyone who doesn't want to get the game to do so just to solve this issue, but if someone's had experience of the game on Win8 if they could let me know if it works. More specs are available down below in the "My specs" if you're interested and if you want to compare them with the game's specs please do so to have a better idea. The three games have similar specs but if you need a clear image of the requirements, I would recommend looking at the specs individually
The games I want at this time are:
Tomb Raider Legend
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Tomb Raider Underworld
I want to know if they work on Win8 because that's my OS and I would like to make a series on my YouTube channel on the 3 games because I don't have a capture card at the present time so I can't capture my PS3 gameplay
Thanks for your help and I appreciate the support

PS for anyone who's wondering, just so I don't get bugged by users in the comments :p my YouTube channel is RatClanTech98. I haven't made many videos up to this time but I'm planning on making more in the foreseeable future

I understand your question but it is question asked multiple times. Can game "x" work on Windows 8.1?

In most cases yes if it works in previous OS like Windows 7, Vista and maybe XP. There are some exceptions like the game is hard programed to certain files and if you have games that need Dos or 16 bit which can be emulated via DOS Box, Virtual Machine, or there is updated version to the OS.

To answer your question, I used the Windows Compatibility Center which you can use for programs and games
Windows Compatibility Center

Tomb Raider Legend.... Not compatible based on Website
Windows 8.1 compatibility for Tomb Raider: Legend version 1

According to the Steam Discussions there is workaround using Compatibility mode but look around more there to see:
Tomb Raider legend crash on windows 7 :: Tomb Raider: Legend General Discussions

Tomb Raider Anniversary.....Compatible
Windows 8.1 compatibility for Tomb Raider: Anniversary version 1

Check out the Steam Discussions for tweaks for TR Anniversary:
Tomb Raider: Anniversary General Discussions :: Steam Community

Tomb Raider Underworld.....Compatible
Windows 8.1 compatibility for Tomb Raider: Underworld version 1

same as the above you can check out the Steam Discussions for tweaks on TR Underworld:

The other website I use is Can I run it?
Can You RUN It | Can I run that game | Game system requirements

I hope that helps but try using these two websites (Windows Compatibility Center & Can I Run it?) and Steam Discussions

PS. I also own all the Tomb Raider games via Steam but I have not tried to play them myself yet because I so loved Tomb Raider 2013. I will try them some day. I also have Youtube channel and Twitch Channel with the same username but it is mostly causal.

Awkwardly one of the three games is not compatible even though all 3 are available as a Trilogy on PS3/XBox 360.
I use CYRI myself for some games, and I find that usually it's my OS that isn't Compatible with the games as it's a new OS compared to the game.
I'll check the above websites and come to a conclusion before I solve this
Thanks for the reply

[[EDIT]]--I might as well E-Mail Crystal Dynamics (Developers of TR: Legend) to make a definite check that the game works on Win8

Tomb Raider (2013)
Laura Croft and the Guardian of Light
Tomb Raider Underworld

I also have Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation loaded from Original CDs.

You can see some of these running at: Windows 8 Game Compatibiity - 100 Tests - YouTube
