Microsoft flight was released today too, Microsoft has announced MS Flight to bee Free to play game, and i tested it on 8 CP and highly recommend this game for anyone who likes planes.

thanks for the reminder! I just downloaded it and have played through a few tutorial missions. very, very fun and very, very easy to get into. the old flight simulator games (I'm talking dos/early windows versions) were always so complicated and ultra-simmy. this has a nice arcade feel without losing the simulation feel.

Microsoft did a great job doing this, but what i miss from it are jumbo-jets, and free flight around the globe. Hopefully microsoft will add atleast the jets to the game.

The first time I played it worked but now all I get is this:

Same here, after i ran it as Administrator it worked fine.

In Windows 8 it works fine as admin, but in Win 7 nothing works. I will reinstall in Win 7.

Can't seem to get this to work when my laptop is connected to the TV . Guessing it must be the higher resolution. Works fine when played in the laptop though. Is there any workaround? Other games (even older ones) don't have this problem . All I get is a black screen that sort of flashes between this and the desktop, and the background music. Hmmmm. [Just noticed I made an error when registering. I'm running windows 8 ]

Hey @HedCase, Make a new thread instead of bringing back zombie thread from last year.

Answer your question it is compatible with Windows 8 that it works on my laptop. I suggest you a make a new thread for people to help you.
