Win 8 Can't Open Around the World in 80 Days game

My new HP Probook 4540s installed with Win 8 Pro 64bit cannot open Around the World in 80 Days, Amazing Pyramid and Fishdom. When I double click the shortcut it attempts to open for just a fraction of a second and close. Please help.

Right click the shortcut of either game and select "Open File Location" and then right click on the file that would launch the game and select properties. Next, click on the "Compatibility" tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and in the dropbox select Windows 7 and apply the change. Then try to launch the game and if it does not work go back into the properties and select compatibility tab again and instead of windows 7, click the dropbox and select Windows XP. Had the same problem running around the world in 80 days, Rome puzzle and several others. Using Windows XP, Windows 7, 8 and 10. Finally fixed and simple. Now all games run on different systems on seperate computers. How? When many comuters are setup with the Windows System the setup will install a general graphics and sound drivers. What you need to do is download and install both the correct drivers for your computers display and sound. Worked for me Cheers
