Prince of Persia forgotten sands not working

Hi,

Im new to the windows 8 operating system. Im using laptop config:Samsung NP350E5C-S03IN Laptop (Intel Core i3 processor 3120M- 4GB RAM- 750GB HDD- Win8- 2GB AMD Radeon HD Graphics).

I have purchased the prince of persia forgotten sands original DVD, i can install it but the game is not running. i cannot play the game. compatibility is also not giving solution.

i want to change my operating system to Windows 7 for this.

1. How can i play this game?
2. How to install windows 7 (Because it is stating that the hard drive is in GPT while installing windows 7)
3. If i install windows 7, will all drives in my laptop work fine? (Including AMD Radeon HD graphics)

Please help.

What exactly happens when you try running your game? Does it give you an error message? Black screen? Nothing at all?

Don't be so quick to do so. If your game doesn't work on Windows 8, there's a decent chance it won't work on Windows 7 either.

There are numerous guides on this available around the forums. You'll have to properly format your drive to switch to Windows 7.

Depends entirely on the laptop. I'm assuming you'll be just fine. If you decide to go this route, check out your laptop manufacturer's website; they usually have all the drivers you need.

Prince of persia forgotten sands game is not working - 2

The game is working in windows 7, there is no problem with this game. This is compatibility issue. I can't find a solution in websites.if i open the game, it is saying that some dll is missing. It is happening due to the directx version (i think). The default directx version is 11 in windows 8. Many of the old games (which are using directx 9 or directx 9.0c) are not working in windows 8 and some of the original programs too.:shock:


I cannot find any drives in samsung websites for the graphic cards support.
