Solved Gunslinger on Win 8?

Has any one out here played/playing Call of Juarez:Gunslinger in Win 8 64-bit?? Coz I am having some issues playing it and would like to get it resolved. The one I am playing is the blackbox repack version.

That's not exactly the point. The Steam version also has issues with Windows 8.

You're right. What I meant is that the legal Steam copy also has compatibility problems, at least when I tryed it on Win8 sometime ago.

I got a compatibility issue message, but it worked in compatibility mode with Win7.

I have no compatibility problem at all with Win7 or 8. The game has installed a lot of updates this past week, so they may have fixed the problem.
