    Fraps 3.1.2 on Build 7989

I have noticed that when recoding with fraps on build 7989 does not exhibit problems with minimizing and resorting a game that is being recorded. I am recoding SAMP and minimizing while recoding would crash the game. Win 8 Beta this problem does not exist, allowing you to keep recording constantly.

I have not fully tested this and am wondering if anyone else has tried fraps on win 8 yet?

It's run very smoothly for me. My SSD had microstutters while recording in Win7 but that doesn't seem to exist here.
Either it's a kernel thing, or just better performance.

Frapping to an SSD ouch! i use striped WD500's.
Out of curiosity I aimed fraps at my OCZ Agility 3 60GB and found that it did indeed shutter while recoding even in build 7989.
what brand/size SSD are you using?

my fraps just lauches but cannots ssem to access ANY media, the count of fps no longer shows on any game and especially not the windows desktop, the screenshot, recordings and benchmarking do not trigger, I changed the hotkey for screenshots since f11 poped up the hotkeys for windows explorer to f12.

Nothing could seem to et it to work

my version is Fraps v.3.4.7 build 13808

I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

    So any clues?
