Nah... You do it like you would do with regular cables too, pull at one end and see which strand moves the most.

And then there's the problem with the rather crappy PinOut from PSU which partly interweaves the single cables of a strand causing the whole strand to move even if you only pull on one cable - Annoying when laying them out but handy for the purpose of checking which cable came from where.

Durahl, I was being ironic, xD. Your rig ****ing rocks. But if someday I have the chance to buy something like that, I'd go with much smaller hardware. I like powerful hardware, but I hate gigantic things in the world of hardware. A compact water-cooled PC is what I want.

Another thing that I really avoid is power eaters PC's. In my current laptop I can play the newest games almost ultra with a maximum of 140W more or less. How much your system consumes playing a game at max settings. Or basically, using almost all the power with a real world task?

    Count too the 3 monitors.

    No offence taken, really.

I just wanted to point out the reason why I changed my setup into this current build - Like I said, it wasn't actually even planned but I felt the need to make use of the credits I had from the RMA and with Manufacturer only producing GPUs and Motherboards in that price range the options what to choose from were rather limited.

I guess though I'm guilty of charge when it comes to large Computer Cases but this too is a necessity because I can't stand seeing the tower on my table leaving me only with Big Tower options I can place below my table ( now temporarily raised by 2cm thick wooden bars because the new Tower otherwise wouldn't fit below it anymore *shakesfist* )

When you build a rig/system like that, it's not about conservation or frugality but the art and joy of it. Nothing more, nothing less... Just the pure joy of the master piece before you. It's showcasing the pride and joy in building and having such a system. In this case there should never be any apologies. Sometimes people forget this is as much an enthusiast forum as is a tech forum. Again, great looking system.

    Here's mine BTW...

Why none of you answered me what's the power consumption of that PC? I really wanna know. 500W when playing a new videogame?

    What about idle-surfing-YouTube consumption? 100W?

    Thanks!

Heh... Sorry about that! Somehow I managed to overlook this question - But to be honest I'm not even sure how to measure it anyway as I don't have an electricity meter I could use for only measuring my Rig and everything that is attached to it.

Once back at home I could check if the PSU has such a function... After all it's connected to the PC via USB.

Did a quick gaming Session while the Corsair Link from the PSU was running.

According to Corsair Link and excluding the 4 Monitors I'm sitting at ~600W Power Consumption during gaming.
-300W during a leisure YouTube session.

Including the Monitors and some of the other external Hardware I'm probably sitting at 900-1000W.
