Return to Metro Screen Using Touch

When I'm showing the desktop on my primary monitor, is there a way to return to the Metro start screen using a finger gesture? I can use the mouse to click in the lower left corner but when I try to use a finger down there, I get IE 10 instead (fat fingers?)

    • Wipe in the charms bar from the right screen side.
    • Use the middle icon (Windows flag).
