Hi , i have been using my w8 tablet for a few months now and i have tried IE 10 , Chrome , Safari , Opera , Firefox browsers on it . So far my findings is IE 10 is still the smoothest scrolling , but chrome is the fastest in loading up the page but sometime got issue of when i touch the screen , the keyboard will pop up with no reason at all , it's disturbing . Safari is third fastest , then Firefox , but the Worst is definitely Opera - this i dont know why they are so slow in loading most pages - i have compared all browsers like just loading the same Gsmarena and Gizmodo on all , try and see for yourself . IE 10 and Chrome still have some bug problems to be solved , but it's usable for now , hope they will improve when w8 is official on sale
Windows 8 is beta, and so technically is IE10. Why not try the beta versions of the other browsers - they may or may not perform better than the mainstream versions:
Dear fafhrd , Thanks for your reply info , i will try it out so on , i always like faster browsers , seeing how they compete monthly , coming up newer faster upgrades , it's just wonderful . I also tried the new chrome on my ios ipad , looks like the fastest around , enjoy.
Downloaded all 4 , looks like chrome canary , firefox beta and opera next is equally fast but sure faster than stock stable browsers . Maxthon is also fast , got to test further and will come back much later for my results , Thanks n regards
