Anyone know how to get the drivers for Canon IP3000 working.

If I use WU then I get

If I go via device manager then I get two drivers found, a 7 driver and an OEM, both of which give me

All updates have been installed. Its a fresh install, and this and my webcam are the only peripherals that are failing. Ive googled, been to canon without joy

What I have got in my previous installation that some of the drivers from the past release of the manufacturer is not ready or not supported of W8.

Drivers of my laptop is having a difficult compatibility, most of them then I realize that this drivers might run only in Win7 OS.

The only thing I can suggest to you is to check for compatibility of software/driver in this link Windows 8 Release Preview Compatibility Center: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads

Hopefully you can find it there.. :thumb:
