Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator does not work

I recently found out that my Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator has stopped working, it stopped since yesterday after I uninstalled the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) software. I had an installation of it through as an optional Windows Update, but didn't realize that the software itself was for desktop motherboards until later on. I went to try to uninstall it through Windows Updates and could find no instance of the files.

So instead, went to my machine manufacturers site and then downloaded the files from there to install and then uninstall the files. I uninstalled the files successfully form the add/remove programs control panel, but that was when Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator had stopped working, the driver appearing grey instead of solid.

Can anyone help me with this?

Alright, I went to uninstall Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator in hopes that it would re-install after I had uninstalled it and restarted my system.

Suffice to say, things did not go as planned and now I'm short 1 Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator. I'm at a loss as to what to do next, is this driver critical to the functionality and stability of my machine? Will I lose any performance, software or hardware functionality? If so, is there anyway I can re-download and install the driver?

If anyone can help, please respond.

Okay, another question instead then. Would it be possible to replace the missing driver with the installation of Windows 10? I assume whatever I lost will be re-added if the installation deems it necessary to do that.

So can anyone answer whether or not that would be the case?

UPDATE: Well I fixed the problem by installing 10, everything seems to be working even better before. However a new question arises in regards to drivers, do still need to update all the drivers that are provided by Windows 10 with the ones that exist on my machines manufacturers site?

They provide iterations of said drivers that were published around August, vs the ones that were included with Windows 10 that have a date of July.

    Please respond.
