Hi guys, I have Windows 8.1 and I am using the MS sculpt comfort mouse. The problem is that my bluetooth disconnects from time to time, with seemingly no pattern.
I have already gone to device manager->bluetooth->intel (R) wireless bluetooth (R) 4.0-> properties and unchecked "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power". I also doubt it is a power thing because I would be using my computer and moving the mouse and all of a sudden the bluetooth mouse would disconnect.
I usually get it reconnected by going to the bluetooth device icon in the tray and clicking on "show bluetooth devices" and it would take me to that settings->bluetooth page with Windows 8 graphics. It would show that bluetooth on and even my mouse is connected, and after a while my mouse starts working again. Sometimes I can also fix it by putting my computer to sleep and then re-awaken it.
I also noticed when my mouse disconnects, if I go to device manager, I see that all those entries underneath Bluetooth would disappear, leaving only intel (R) wireless (I think, I don't remember exactly) icon with a yellow exclamation mark on it. If I disable then enable, or putting computer to sleep then reawaken, or go to the settings page to wait for disconnection, the the stuff in device manager then fills up. It seems like my computer is stopping bluetooth service or something.
Can somebody help me with this bluetooth issue? Thank you.
