Hello, trying to add a monitor to my laptop. I get a picture on both screen, however, when I close the laptop, I lose both screens. I have toggled every combination on the 'Display' screen in 'PC Setings' but haven't found the correct toggles as yet. Most of my periphials work(still adding) but not the display when I close laptop. Trying to make a desktop out of the laptop. I have it above me on shelf 18" above work area on a cooler/blower. Ideally, I want the laptop to come alive when opened, if and when I need to go to it for maintenance, etc. Where do I go to make my monitor the main screen? Monitor is a Samsung 24SD300. Thank you all for your help here!

It is one of those hidden items in the Control Center. I tend to forget about it being there at times.
