Recently i noticed that my battery was not charging and i was getting a message "plugged in not charging". So i performed a solution as given on youtube and it worked fine. But i thought the problem was solved but it continued to happen after several days. Now every time the problem occurs i have to run through the same solution. It is getting really annoying. Is there any fix to this?

I currently use this fix.
Uninstall the "microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery" driver
Shut down laptop
Remove battery
Startup laptop and then insert the battery when laptop turns on

The other problem i noticed when this occurs my PC becomes really really slow. Only after performing the above procedure it works fine.

I have a lenovo z50-70 laptop which is hardly 3 months old and works really well apart from this problem
