So I was using drivers from Scarlet.Crush Productions in order to run my PS3 controller on my PC. I used another tool that enabled me to change the MAC address of the controller so I could connect to my phone using bluetooth with my controller. However, this installed drivers on my PC that broke the old drivers I was using for my PS3 controller, and now it isn't working on my computer. This has happened before and a system restore was the only thing that fixed it. Now, after struggling for hours and hours and days, does NOT want to work and no one has helped me with it, so I'm giving up on that for now. I'd just like to fix my drivers. Is there a way I could detect recently installed drivers and remove them? Reinstalling the Scarlet.Crush drivers doesn't seem to work. This is REALLLY bugging me and I would like to fix it as soon as I possibly can.

Any help is very very appreciated, thank you.

If you look inside C:\Windows\System32\drivers you will see the driver files and if you arrange by date, you will see when they were installed.

Then, if you go into Control Panel --> Device Manager, you should look for the same drivers and the driver "tab" for each driver set should show the Provider and date.

You can then use Device Manager to disable and/or uninstall the driver set.

I couldn't find the driver anywhere on Device Manager, though I did manage to solve the problem by force-installing my controller drivers and making sure it overwrote everything. (There was a "force install" option on the installer meant for XP and Windows 7 users. I was desperate enough to try this and it worked!)

Thank you for your help either way!
