The virtual keyboard on windows 8.1 was working.
I have the Chrome shortcut in the start up folder setup with the target as --kiosk so that it opens full screen and it goes to the correct website when the system boots.
When I clicked in a text field the virtual keyboard would pop up, now it isn't.
I've done a lot of research on this, I am seeing people say the keyboard does not work in desktop mode, but it did.
Just prior to this I disabled the keyboard icon on the task bar, but have now added it back to the task bar. Perhaps this is the issue? Is there something else I need to change?
This is a kiosk so no other methods of bringing up the keyboard are viable, such as pressing the keyboard icon, since the keyboard icon is not visible with chrome in kiosk mode.
Thank you kindly for any thoughts.
Brett.
