Toshiba convertible Laptop/Tablet no longer allows the use of the touch-screen when in laptop mode. When the screen is folded down into tablet mode then the touch-screen works as expected. This laptop is over a year old and the touch-screen was working fine in both laptop and tablet mode previously.

This is my mother's laptop and so I do not know how long ago this occurred, but it was within the last month or 2 since that was the last time I used it without an issue. I cannot find a setting for this in control panel.

Thanks,
Alex

Interesting.

It is possible there has a been a Windows Update recently which updated the drivers that is causing the problem.

You should be able to find the touch screen drivers. Try rolling back the driver.
