    I was going to buy a stick of this ADATA 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model ADDS1600W8G11-S - to install in the extra slot of this Laptop MSI GP Series GP70 Leopard-010 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i5 4200M (2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M 2GB 17.3" Windows 8.1 64-bit - which is rated to handle 16gb. The only difference about the actual Laptop we purchased is ours has the i5 4210H processor the memory in the laptop now, has the exact same specs and is also Adata looks the same. Thanks!

    Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

    This is a good tool. Don't have to go with Crucial but they do make good RAM at a good price. The tool will at least show what is compatible.

Swap Shared System Memory and Dedicated Video Memory values possible?
Is there a way to swap these values? default windows 8 drivers has 256 shared system memory but 0 dedicated video memory but after installing sis mirage 3+ drivers dedicated video memory has gone up to 256mb and shared system memory has gone low to 64mb. Editing sis drivers maybe? but how?
