Hi!
I have this PC for over a year now, but I wasn't really looking to solve this problem, but it's annoying now.... Apps need more RAM and so on...

PC specs: Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 rev 3.0 motherboard, AMD FX 6300 black, Gigabyte GeForce 760
I had 2x4GB 1600MHz CL10 Patriot RAM, tryed in friend's PC, they worked there. So we changed our RAMS and he gave me Kingston CL9 1600MHz RAM. Same problem.

RAM sticks are properly put in dual channel (have 4 slots, tryed both dual channel possibilities). BIOS detects all 8gigs usable. Memtest 86+ too.

I had Windows 7 x64, few days ago I reinstalled to Windows 8.1 x64, expecting problem to be solved. I was wrong.
I have system on 60GB Kingston SSD, all data on 1TB HDD.

Did you install 32 bit windows? It will only see somewhat less than 4GB.

Re-install using the 64 bit version if you did...

I have x64 system, x64 processor, as you can see on 2nd screenshot. That Win7 which I had before was x64 too.

CPU-Z will show you if memory is operating in dual-channel mode and if the slots are being recognized.

You're kind of confrontational so I'm done, not in the mood for it. Do hope you figure it out.

Well sorry, but I am frustrated from the situation because

1. Someone replies me and dont know about topic at all
2. Someone feels offended because I said "read please" ???

Like, sorry, but I gave here all informations, politely trying to solve the problem, and all I got is nothing at all.
I wasn't trying to be "confrontational" or whatever, maybe I am using little bit more aggresive words - sorry, not from America, nor native english speaker!

This should be ok. I tried to: uncheck it, check and set to 0 and then to 8192.

That Kingston RAM needs 1.65v to work properly at 1600 MHz. Can you check in BIOS if that's the case ?

Okay, here are screenshots how it is set in BIOS right now, and how it was then too. Tryed to change voltage, but system became unstable and didn't resolve the problem. I tryed also underclocking RAM by changing multiplier -> to 1333MHz or what, and didn't work neither. Screenshot by CPU-Z claims it is working on 1.5V, but XMP is working at 1.65V. Another thing, suddently, CPU-Z claims that RAMs are working in single channel. Dont know why, RAMs are properly put in motherboard, in same color, by a manual they're correct. To be sure, i placed them incorrectly and PC didn't start.

EDIT: forgot to say I tryed to restart CMOS memory to be sure BIOS recognised another sticks :)

Screenshots uploaded in attachments. Last SCRshot comment - slot #2 exactly same info as written in slot #1. other slots, obviously, empty.

Only wrong things I can see is that according to SPD, RAM voltage should be 1.65v and BIOS shows 1.5v. and yet CPU-Z shows it running at 1600 MHz. so something is not matching.

No, because I have 990XA (not FXA) UD3 rev 3.0, so I have FEg. (just found out, that FEh is out, dunno when, time on page is misleading, few weaks ago there was just FEg, going to update BIOS and will let you know the results)
EDIT: BIOS updated to FEh, all same.

I have found, that maybe your GPU might be using it, check its settings.

I am sure it is not, because my nVidia 760 has 2GB of its own memory.

Dude on that site claimed "no result", so are you telling me that I have to sell MOBO and buy new one? (and, is Windows reinstall necesarry then, i think, isn't it?)
In fact, I was contacting their support too, last response was: (nevermind, link invalid now.... But, nothing useful...)

EDIT: Sorry didn't replied to you :/ EDIT2: Nazdar, Slovák na 8forums :)

Only wrong things I can see is that according to SPD, RAM voltage should be 1.65v and BIOS shows 1.5v. and yet CPU-Z shows it running at 1600 MHz. so something is not matching.

yeah, like RAM is running 1.5V but that XMP whatever it is claims to be right at 1.65V, dunno. These screenshots was not taken during underclocked RAM, so it is right that it's 1600MHz, isn't it?

Will let you guys know results ASAP, thnx for help :)

I have same Kingston RAM but "DC Mode" shows it's running in Unganged mode and as far as I remember, it should be in that mode in order for it to run as Dual. When I tried to run it with 1.5v it would post only maybe once or twice in 10 tries but at.1.65v, right now with sizable OC runs at 816.6 or actual 1632 MHz.
