Hello all,

My configuration:

Notebook - Asus
1TB HDD + 24 GB SSD (sandisk)

I've reinstalled WIN but now I can't use "Intel Rapid Storage Technology " -> Intel Smart Response Technology.

Now I'm lost because I don't know how to configure this SSD as SRT (Smart response technology). I configure "SSD" drive inside "disk management" as "stand-alone" partition, which is not proper as far I discovered.

I've installed all drivers (Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver for my notebook) and also application"Intel rapid storage technology". Because SSD is not configured as it should be there is no option/tab "accelerate":

Can anyone help me, I really don't want to reinstall everything...

Thank you

Is there a reason you are set on using IRST? I've found these things to cause more trouble than they're worth, my experience.

Yes, your correct the SSD is not configured correctly! it is not intended to be a separate drive it was configured as a cache for your hard drive. I think you'll have to check out Asus Tech support to correct the set up or someone that understands how these cache drive, set ups work

This link is a guide and may be helpful you can ask questions there too.
I don't see which notebook of Asus you have but I do know that some of the new 15" notebooks are coming with a very small SSD like you are showing. So Asus would be your best bet as to how they had the SSD Set up as a cache for your hard drive the link I have given you is to ROG forum in general, there are notebook specific forum threads there also.
