Realtek disabling sound/keyboard/mouse

Well I don't know if it's the integrated realtek that's causing the problem or the motherboard but I custom built this pc and for 3 days it was working perfectly fine and then all of a sudden I will see realtek HD audio manager pop up saying something's been plugged/unplugged from the front panel and my sound and mouse and keyboard won't work at all, the mouse light will still be on but that's it. I can be watching or playing a game and they will continue like normal except for the sound/mouse/keyboard. Sometimes it will happen a few minutes after the computer started and trying to watch a video or play a game and sometimes it can take a few hours before it does anything and just once it didn't happen at all. I have been looking for days and can't seem to find anyone with the exact same problem. Please help

Also as I was typing this it happened again and this time without me doing it, it restarted itself.

Don't know if is this is relevant but my computer was making sounds like it was working on something right before it happened.
