Hello,
I used this tutorial to disable write access to USB drives of certain PCs but when I connect my Android phone which has MTP mode, I can easily transfer files to it. Is there any way to disable copying to MTP devices? I am okay with disabling them completely too, instead of just disabling copy.

Thank you.

I think you can do so if you're willing to disable all WPD devices (phones, MP3 players, cameras, etc) by disabling the driver they require.

Download Serviwin. Extract files to a folder. Right click serviwin.exe and Run as admin. Click View->Drivers. Scroll down to WUDFRd. Right click and change Startup Type to Disabled. Reboot

WPD devices should now fail because the driver won't load.

To change back, run the DriveCleanUp tool (that post talks about USB devices which includes cleanup for WPD devices as well). Change the driver Startup Type back to Manual. Reboot

/* EDIT */
Just noticed the thread had been marked solved?? Did you find another solution over the last 4 days? If so, please share. Am curious to know
