Solved Advent 7039 running microsoft xp wont boot

Hi first don't say wrong forum because this isn't about windows itself its faults with the pc

Advent 7039 power it and the power LED Iluminates for 1 second and then it goes off no sign from then except remove all power hold pwr button for 15 secs (removes power from device) and power it again square 1 took away keyboard no visual faults but big strip down tomorrow need as much help as I can before 5 of the clock because that's big strip down and I need to know what im looking for I have 1 connector that does keyboard and one connector (similar size and look as jeyboard) near it not connected to anything it was working earlier today when wifi was dead so anybody with ideas would be preciated its windows xp but I could only get onto this forum but its not the os as same with no HDD tried swapping memory with eack other still nothing tried multi-metre tester but need to no where I need to test getting 18.53 out of 19v power lead wich I guess is okay

I'm afraid your explanations are not very clear but try without battery in, sometimes if battery is defective laptop would not start.

Hi fixed myself my explanation was as clear as I can do so im sorry you couldn't quiteom get what I was saying (No Offence) I pushed in my dvd rom and it dicided to work I did also try without battery but thanks for saying anywaythankyou hope this could help anyone by pushing inn there dvd rom
