I'm a new Netflix subscriber, and I'm not overly thrilled with the app running on my Blu-Ray player or my game consoles. I was thinking of running a dedicated machine to handle these duties. I'm an IT Manager, and my company is willing to sell me (dirt cheap) a small Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150. It's a quiet little PC, but I'm not sure if it would handle the streaming duties.
It has an Intel Atom D525 processor and 2 GB of memory. I would replace the spinner drive with an SSD, so at least that part would be quick. Would that be enough juice to run Windows 8.1 and the Netflix app?
