So I had this Bluetooth mouse that I only used occasionally. After installing Windows 8, I tried turning it on only to find that it was wasn't functioning. So, naturally I thought of pairing it once more. Unfortunately, the god damn thing just wont show up! I have a feeling it's because I had that mouse as an active device when I was on Windows 7. Anyway to get this to show.
I have a feeling completely removing any traces of the mouse might get it to work again. But I don't know how to do that. I removed it from Device Manager's Bluetooth Devices' section but that didn't do the trick. Furthermore, the Mouse Settings' Bluetooth Tab still lists my mouse as a functioning device although it doesn't show up in the Control Panel's Bluetooth Device list.
PS: The Mouse has no issues. It works fine on my Friends system on Windows 8.
