Storage Spaces

Hello, I am transferring all my data away from a WD MyCloud and moving it into my desktop. Currently I have 2 3TB drives in the MyCloud that I will be installing in the desktop after I move everything over. Well, I was almost done when the storage space filled up. So I plugged in a 500 GB drive temporarily and attempted to move the last 10GB of data over. It is still saying that its full and won't let me transfer it. I also tried deleting a few large files, but its still not letting me do anything. The 500GB drive is in the pool showing just a few files. Is there any way to rebalance the drives? Thanks for any help.
