Hello everyone. I have one big problem. I reinstalled my 8.1 pro (legal copy, disk been fully formatted) and it was okay for few hours. Next time im starting the laptop, my keyboard and touchpad doesnt work. I plugged USB mouse and keyboard and it works just fine. I went to device manager and besides Standart PS/2 keyboard and mouse icons there was orange triangle meaning that i have problem with drivers. I searched drivers online, but unsuccsessily.. After few hours of trying to fix it, my Standart PS/2 Keyboard turned into Unknown device and now im completely lost. Adding photo of device manager, i hope someone will help me here. Untitled.png

Since we do not know the make and model of your laptop.
Should try the laptop manufacturer's website to see if you can find the drivers for this. Does look like there missing.

What does it tell you when you right click the ones with yellow exclamation points ?

You can right click and select update driver software, either search automatically or browse your computer, select signed driver from the list is shows you.

When you say "update driver" would that be from Microsoft or the manufacturer's website ?

I quit using Microsoft drivers a long time ago...

edit--- I use the paid version of http://www.drivermax.com/

It works good.
The free version is limited to 2 driver downloads/day.

On yr keyboard n yr touch screen which becomes faulty if u use it 99%

Never trusted this kind of software, how is it, i tried one time Reviversoft driver reviver.? I know they make backups of your drivers first. Just a bit leery of these programs. Rather check my manufacturer's site.

Well one you listed is easy to get from AMD, especially a video card driver. I would figure needing to use these programs might be for more harder to find drivers that concern you for updating. Again most never give good reviews for most of these driver update programs. Sure you know what your doing, be more for ones who are not too familiar.

As you must know, make a restore point or system image backup before doing anything.
