Hi all!
My first post and visit here so please be kind

I have problems installing a legacy driver, and one proposed solution given was the following:

1. Windows Key + R
2. Enter shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00
3. Click the "OK" button
4. System will restart to a "Choose an option" screen
5. Select "Troubleshoot" from "Choose an option" screen
6. Select "Advanced options" from "Troubleshoot" screen
7. Select "Windows Startup Settings" from "Advanced options" screen
8. Click "Restart" button
9. System will restart to "Advanced Boot Options" screen
10. Select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
11. Once the system starts, install the "USB Blaster" driver as you would on Windows 7

On step 10. nothing happens when i try to hit the keys to disable Driver Signature Enforcement, and it seems to be stuck. After a while the computer turns off itself, and when a later start it again everything seems to be like normal, and as far as I can tell, I did not succeed in disabling the
"Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"...

What is wrong with my computer?

Computer: Acer
Aspire M5-581TG
Processor: Intel i5-3317U
OS: Windows 8 64-bit (6.2, build 9200)

Thanks for any help and input!
