Switching over components

Hey guys I have an hp laptop with an i5 4200u in it and 8 gigs of ram. It is an absolute nightmare because the track pad never works and nothing works right on it. I was wondering if I could buy a cheap Lenovo with cheap components and just switch over my processor/hdd/RAM. I don't know enough about the sockets that are used in the new motherboards but if anybody could help me find a laptop that would be a suitable recipient for these parts I would appreciate it.

Alright thanks. All the components I listed are fine but the motherboard sucks and the track pad sucks and Windows 8 doesn't play well with them
