Solved No drives detected?

If this is in the wrong thread, please tell me. I am not thinking right today.

Yesterday, my PC booted up slow, like 3 hours on the windows logo. So, I decided to reinstall Windows 8. On the custom menu, my drives were detected. I selected my normal boot drive and I get something like: An error occurred, please see boot log. So, I put the thumb drive into a laptop and did not see the log in any folder. So, I tried to do it again, this time on my storage drive. I reformatted (Good thing I had all of my videos and pictures on my Windows Home Server) the drive and get the same error. Today, I tried to do it again, this time I get a message saying that there is no drives detected. The drives do work though, They are detected in the BIOS and I put them in my server to see if it works. So I used a Windows 7 Installer and I get the same message. Is it possible that my Motherboard is not working properly?

If your hard drive is detected in your PC's BIOS then check your SATA mode configuration settings as you might need to load the SATA controller pre-installation drivers for the Windows setup to be able to detect your hard drive.

Thats weird. I never needed that before. Would I find it in the chipset drivers? I found some drivers here:FindLaptopDriver.com | Download Pegatron Corporation Motherboard Drivers

Those drivers did not work. I might just get a real motherboard.

I think you should know you hdd is not working properly
they detected in bios menu so what a big deal
there may be three thing you should check out
1. put the drive other desktop see what happens
2. take look for your hdd format (must be in NTFS)
3. take some time do a zero level hdd format

1: I put them in my server, worked fine. Even RAID worked.
2: Drive was formatted to NTFS in the server.
3: Getting to that now.

Ok, so after I formatted my drives (only my storage drive is detected now) I went to install Windows and got the message: "We couldn't create new partition or locate an existing one. For moar information, please see the Setup log files." As said before, I got this message and cant find the setup log file at the beginning. I have a feeling a new motherboard will fix the problem. Any thoughts?
