Lenovo Miix 2 8 Duplicate display Registry tweaks?

Hi All, I am trying to duplicate the 8" tablet display to a second monitor but get a message
"The Display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination."

I suspect this is windows deciding that the second display is not touch therefore I can't duplicate. But, I am using an OTG cable and have keyboard and mouse for the second monitor. But, I would like to be able to use the touch screen at times too. Currently I am stuck with using the second monitor only.

Are there any Registry tweaks or anything else I can do to allow this to use both the tablet display and the external monitor?
